Hey there, I’m Rachael and welcome to my blog. It’s great to have you here!

When I was 21 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour (Pituitary Macroadenoma). I had two surgeries, radiotherapy and now live with 50% of the tumour and a rare pituitary condition called Hypopituitarism.

I am a creative entrepreneur, running three businesses with my partner Jamie and our doggy assistant Stan (pictures to follow, I promise).

Due to my past experience and the side effects of my condition, I have been really struggling with my mental health. I recently came to the conclusion that I need an outlet to talk about it all. I shouldn’t be ashamed or hide in the corner as my story deserves to have a voice.

I hope that with The Mass and Me I can provide support to those in a similar situation or encourage others to share their experience. I will always be as open and honest as possible because I want my posts to be helpful. Also, it’s super important to me that I help raise awareness for those affected by a pituitary condition, as it really doesn’t get enough attention.

And it’s not all doom and gloom, I promise. There will be funny and slightly embarrassing stories that will be worth tuning in for, even if just for the giggles.

Well that’s a little snippet of my life but as you can imagine there is a lot more that I want to share with you all. So, I hope to see you over on my blog page!

Much love, Rachael 🌻
